Martha Patterson

Martha never envisioned herself being in the construction industry but rather a Grammar School Teacher with the specialty of Math and Science. Her education took her that way with a B.A. Degree in Liberal Arts from San Diego State University.
After she married Jeff, her life changed. She started to become immersed in construction just by association and became involved in the log home industry after they started their own handcrafted log home company in 1981. For the next 10 years, Martha worked part time in their Handcrafted Log Home business helping with sales and doing the entire payroll and accounting. During that time she also did all of the mothering duties of raising two beautiful daughters.
In 1992, after they sold their company, Martha started working in the log home business full time. She went to work for another handcrafted log home company and trained under Jeff’s tutelage to became very proficient in Sales and Project Management. She really cut her teeth in Project Management helping on a large commercial project for the Disney Company. After that, she became able to take on any project, no matter the scale or complexity.
She continued to work in the log home industry in sales and project management and Caribou Creek Log Homes was pleased when they were able to persuade Martha to join its team and be their full time Project Manager. Her experience in design, log and timber construction, plan reading, engineering requirements, accounting, transportation and shipping create that perfect package for our Customers’ Project Management services.
Martha continues to work with all of the Caribou Creek staff and coordinates project related information with all of our clients. We are sure that you will have a great experience when Martha becomes involved in your log home project. |
